Connor McDavid, the best player on the planet, had this to say about officiating, which becomes different in the playoffs. When the spring waltz opens, the calls get quieter. Only what is truly egregious is called...and then some (just think of Chris Lee). This is getting disturbing and the National League looks like a beer league, no less!

So, number 97 raised his voice to give his opinion on the subject:

"We have to be able to perform under any circumstances. The officials have a very difficult job to do. Things happen very quickly and it's not easy for them to see everything. But I would like to see a little more consistency from them. That's what we're looking for as players. Other sports have trends that follow each other from the season to the playoffs. " - McDavid

Ouch! The winner of the most recent Hart and Ted-Lindsay trophies has been right on target to bring the NHL closer to the other three major sports, which has always lagged behind. Still, the show is good. The speed of the game has never been faster, all spiced up with a unique physical game that you don't see in other sports.

However, will Gary Bettman really hear and listen to Connor McDavid since he keeps saying that the officiating is perfect? He's defending his officials, of course!

"Teams decide how they play in the playoffs. When teams play each other back to back, adjustments are made. We saw that this season with the intra-section duels! "

In short... we all agree with Connor McDavid's statement!
