Speaking of points, the first one he scored in game 4 of the series put him on an impressive list of the best scoring rookie players in Canadiens history. If his first point tied Shayne Corson (1987), his second, added on Anderson's goal in overtime, now puts him alone in third place in that chapter. With at least one more game to go, he could very well match and surpass Jacques Lemaire (1968) and approach Claude Lemieux's 16 points in 1986.
We all knew it before, the young number 22 of the Habs is capable of producing in key moments, especially in overtime. He demonstrated this on several occasions when he arrived in the NHL during the regular season, scoring some nice goals in this situation. He hasn't lost his flair and drama in the playoffs as he now has three points in overtime. He is the first rookie to accomplish this feat in the NHL.
