Caufield responds to AHL team that bashed him

«Yo Caufield are you here? Everyone keeps saying you're here but we haven't noticed. Did you not play the first period?»

It's inappropriate for a team to release something like this, and the league expressed displeasure. The tweet was then deleted, but it continues to be discussed, notably by Caufield himself on Wednesday.

«To be honest, I don't really know, I kind of just kind of wiped it under the table, I didn't really get affected by it or anything, I thought it was pretty selfish of them and classless. It's behind us, it's not something I can control. It's not really that big of a deal. I just don't think they should do that to anybody. It's not really professional. And for me, personally, I kind of just read it and kind of let it go. It's not something I really care for.

«In the future, I just hope they stay away from those kind of things. Just cheer on your team, and tweet about your team, not anybody else. And it's not even that big of a deal. I just want them to learn from that. They're people too, so. It's all I've got to say.»

I'm sure Caufield doesn't care and just brushed it off.
