Carolina Hurricanes have some fun at Brad Marchand's expense
The Carolina Hurricanes have to be feeling pretty good after embarrassing the Boston Bruins 7-1 last night. They decided to continue by dissing Bruins forward Brad Marchand after on social media.
Things started before the game when a reporter asked Hurricanes forward Vincent Trocheck if he compares his game to Bruins Brad Marchand. Trocheck replied asking the reporter : "Are you calling me a rat?"
This got back to Bruins forward Brad Marchand who replied on Twitter, "That's like comparing a Lamborghini to a Prius."
Sportsnet would jump in the fun when Vincent Trocheck knocked Brad Marchand down with a check tweeting, "When a Prius runs over a Lambo."
The Hurricanes would send out 2 of their own tweets also, "Never seen a Prius total a Lambo before and after the 7-1 win posting L stands for Lamborghini." It looks like the Hurricanes had the last laugh on this encounter.
