We all know Brad Marchand can get under the skin of teams very easily, but Philadelphia Flyers forward Kavin Hayes shares how he's helped the Hayes family showing he does have a heart too.
Philadelphia Flyers Kevin Hayes talked about Marchand stepping up and reaching out to the Hayes family after the passing of former NHL forward Jimmy Hayes. Jimmy passed away August 23rd 2021.
Kevin Hayes shared with the media how much the Boston Bruins, especially Brad Marchand, were there for the family after Jimmy's death.
Kevin said "The Bruins have been amazing with my family and my brother's family especially Brad Marchand. He played street hockey with (Jimmy's son) Beau, he went down to the local Dorchester rink and hung out. Beau wants to be like Kevin Hayes and Brad Marchand every single morning when he wakes up."
Brad most likely won't change the way he plays on the ice but hearing things like this shows he has heart. This will definitely earn himself more respect in the NHL.
