Some potentially huge news coming out of Arizona as John Gambadoro is reporting that the Coyotes are nearing a blockbuster deal with the Vancouver Canucks.

According to Gambadoro, the deal would involve Coyotes captain Oliver Ekman-Larsson and RFA winger Conor Garland. Ekman-Larsson, 30, is signed through 2026-27 and carries a $8.25M cap hit.
The return from Vancouver is not known at this point, but there seems to be plenty of speculation online that the 9th overall pick in this evening's NHL Entry Draft is involved.
AZ Coyotes Insider Craig Morgan has reported that the Yotes are close to acquiring 31-year-old Antoine Roussel from the Canucks, so I would anticipate Roussel being a part of the larger deal.
