Anaheim Ducks Prospect Mason McTavish Dealt in a Blockbuster Trade

The Anaheim Ducks 2021 1st Round pick Mason McTavish, son of NHL hall of famer Craig McTavish was traded today by his Jr Hockey team the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League to the Hamilton Bulldogs. In return Peterborough receives Alex Pharnand, Johnathan Melee and some draft picks.
Hamilton just picked up Montreal Canadiens Prospect Arber Xhekaj Friday, looking like the Bulldogs are going all in for a chance of the Mastercard Memorial Cup.
Mason McTavish, 3rd Overall in 2021, has been playing all over this season. In 9 games in the NHL, he had 2 goals and 1 assist with a +3 rating, he's also had 3 AHL games, 5 games in the OHL, and was part of Team Canada at the 2022 World Junior Hockey Championships playing in 2 games until, the Tournament was cancelled by the IIHF.
Mason is one of the players invited to represent Canada for the Men's Hockey at the 2022 winter Olympics. Mason was disappointed when the World Junior Tournament was cancelled now he's got a second opportunity to win some Gold for his country.
