Alexander Killorn, a forward with the Tampa Bay Lightning, grew up in Beaconsfield, Quebec, where his parents still live. Even though he was playing against his local Canadiens, Killorn's family and friends cheered him on, and this week they were rewarded when he returned the Stanley Cup to Montreal.
Despite their regret at the final conclusion, I believe most Canadiens supporters will be delighted for Killorn and his family.
As previously reported, Killorn chose to return the Stanley Cup to Montreal to share it with his family. His excursion to downtown Montreal with the trophy appears to have sparked the ire of the Canadiens supporters.
As you can see in the image below, Killorn is happily lifting the Stanley Cup high above his head, with a placard that just reads "Centre Bell" just above it. It's the Bell Center, home of the Montreal Canadiens, and it's one of the greatest attempts at trolling we've seen this summer.
