A former first round pick back in North America next season?

According to what Russian media outlet Championat.com is reporting, the general manager of Traktor Chelyabinsk in the KHL confirmed that an extension offer was recently made to Kravtsov, but was declined.
The ninth overall pick in 2018 spent part of the 2019-2020 season with the Hartford Wolf Pack in the American League. He wasn't happy playing in the minors and decided to return to Russia.
In 2020-2021, Kravtzov played 20 games with the Rangers and recorded four points.
Kravtzov, 22, appeared in 19 games with Traktor last season, recording six goals and 13 points. He played another 15 games in the playoffs, scoring seven goals and 10 points.
Is this a sign that he will be back next season in North America? All signs point to yes!
