A NHL referee had to be stretchered off the ice after a scary collision with Tampa Bay Lightning's Haydn Fleury.
The official Steve Kozari was involved in a massive collision and lost consciousness on the ice. Eventually, he had to be stretchered off the ice."Scary moment. NHL ref collided with one of the @TBLightning players. Ref is being taken off on a stretcher. 🙏🏻"

Before the referee left the ice, players from both teams went on the ice to salute him, highlighting the great respect between players and referees.
