John Tortorella Rips The Flyers' Medical Staff
John Tortorella has always been a controversial coach. His old-school methods and his tendency to speak his mind at all times have made him one of the most well-known (and disliked) personalities in the entire NHL.
Yesterday, he made a significant statement about his own team.

The Flyers have dealt with a lot of injuries this season. Konecny, Ellis, Couturier and others are injured and missed several games already.
Tortorella noted that something's not right about the organization's medical staff in his latest controversial comment:
It is still something on our to do list, i think they've done a better job at not jumping into operations, as why i think happened here. Tommy and his staff have gotten a lot better.
Some of the things off the ice we have spent a lot of times trying to stabilize this year. Players are a pain in the ass when it comes to this, Tommy has done a real good job on on handling it.
3 important guys here, Coots, TK, Atkinson, 3 important guys who are stubborn. The history that has gone on here (medical staff) has brought a lack of confidence for players. Chuck and Barry put a lot of time into trying to fix this up here."
Tortorella addressed the players' distrust in the medical staff, a concerning issue that presents substantial risks for all parties involved.
It's evident that the franchise needs to examine the situation and address the problem.
It makes us wonder what will change first: the medical staff or the head coach?
