Boston Bruins center Trent Frederic got into a fight with Lightning forward Tanner Jeannot tonight. The scrap left the Bruin bleeding all over the ice as he was forced to leave to get repairs.
Jeannot bloodied after intense fight
Fredric has developed a reputation as a tough player who is not afraid to fight anyone in the NHL. His 6'3" 220 pound frame makes him the perfect candidate to play that kind of role. Tonight he showed his worth as a fighter again as he took on Tampa Bay Lightning forward Tanner Jeannot.
The fight was over rather quickly as Jeannot's first punch busted the Bruin's face open. At that point, he chose to duck in an attempt to avoid further hits. Even Jeannot seemed to feel bad about it as his punches became half-hearted at best.

Jeannot was drafted in the 1st round, 29th overall by the Bruins in 2016. Since then he's played in 273 career NHL games, recording 47 goals and 93 points in that span. This season he's set career highs across the board in scoring. The Bruins will look to him as a valuable depth contributor as the team heads into the playoffs this season.
