His death was already suspicious, but now, it's even more so.
"Obviously, getting stories confirmed when they come from Russia, you'll understand that it's difficult. But it seems that his father was trying to invalidate the [KHL] contract.
His father's wish would have been to send him to North America quickly. This is completely absurd. The KHL should recognize that players want to play in the NHL and let them do what they want.
But we know what the risks are if they want to break a contract with the Russian league. And after what happened, it wouldn't be surprising if no one ever tries again.
