Yesterday a post from TJ Oshie's personal X account made its rounds announcing a new cryptocurrency that scammed fans out of their money.
TJ Oshie has made a name for himself as one of the most respected NHLers both on and off the ice. He has a history of working with charity and even played in the Alzner Foundation charity softball game just two weeks ago.
When a post from his X, formerly known as Twitter, account shared a link announcing a new cryptocurrency, fans were clearly puzzled. It was quickly deduced that Oshie was hacked and earlier today he shared the news.
Unfortunately, this was not enough to save some people from losing their money. This fan seems quite upset that he lost his money to the people who hacked Oshie's account.
[TJ Oshie] SCAMMED ME I LOST MONEY WITH OTHER PEOPLE HE LAUNCHED SOME CRYPTO THEN SOLD EVERYTHING AND DELETED THEE POST 🚨 REFUND US OR GO TO JAIL!!!!!!
HE BLOCKED ME TO AVOID THESE FACTS!!!!!!
This is a great time to remember that being cautious online can help people from losing their money. Hopefully, the people who lost their money can get it back soon.
