Vegas Golden Knights lose Sheldon Rempal to Russia
The Vegas Golden Knigts will lose Sheldon Rempal, as he is set to sign with a KHL team.
Rempal, 28, spent most of the season in the AHL, with the Henderson Silver Knights. Since 2018, he played 21 games in the NHL for the Los Angeles Kings, Carolina Hurricanes, VAncouver Canucks and Vegas Golden Knights.
Now, it looks like he has had enough of the NHL as he is set to join Salavat in the KHL.

Rempal was never drafted in the NHL, but he managed to climb his way up from the BCHL to the NCAA, before reaching the AHL.
Earlier this year, he scored his first NHL goal, nearly six years after making his debut.
"WHAT A GOAL FROM SHELDON REMPAL FOR HIS FIRST NHL GOAL AND POINT! 🥳"
A few days later, he scored the second and last goal in the NHL:
We wish him the best as he enters a new chapter in his career!
