Trade proposal emerges sending Nick Robertson to the Winnipeg Jets
The Toronto Maple Leafs have got some bright young talents for the future, but in a proposed trade, they could land one of the best names in the Jets organization.
This off-season has been absolute chaos in the NHL, with big trades coming very often, but even though things have slowed down in the past two days, the rumour mill continues in overdrive.
Now, there's been an intriguing trade suggested that would send Nick Robertson to the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for one of their top prospects.

On paper it's a good trade for both teams, as Winnipeg get a young winger that has NHL experience, while the Maple Leafs get a player that is so far unwilling to play for Winnipeg, but may change his mind to play alongside Toronto's core four.
After failing to live up to expectation, many have expected Toronto to move on from Nick Robertson in the near future, so whether it happens now or once the 2024/25 season begins, this is certainly an intriguing win-win deal that would make plenty of sense.
