After missing practice yesterday with an undisclosed day-to-day injury, Sheldon Keefe just gave an important update on Max Domi's health status.
Even though all eyes are on Auston Matthews in these last 2 Leaf games as he hunts for the incredible 70 goal mark, one player who keeps impressing down the stretch is Max Domi. He has been a perfect match on Matthews' wing, and has really come to find his game over the last few weeks heading into the playoffs.
When Domi missed practice yesterday with an undisclosed injury, it caused worry among many fans, as the Leafs need him to be 100 percent heading into playoffs. That stress was relieved slightly when Domi returned to the ice today for the Leafs pre-game skate.

Missed practice yesterday and is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury
While this didn't mean that Domi would necessarily be back in the lineup tonight, Sheldon Keefe did confirm that he will be back for tonight's game against the Detroit Red Wings.
This is great news for Leaf fans, however, hopefully, Domi is not rushing back and is taking the time he needs to recover. The most important thing over the next two games is that he remains healthy and gets to 100 percent for the beginning of the playoffs.
