Ryan Reaves Laid Out By Five Foot Nine Nathan Walker During Leafs Versus Blues Game

Ryan Reaves was brought into the Toronto Maple Leafs' dressing room because of his big, physical presence. The 6 foot 2 inches, 226-pound tough-guy is well known for his physicality and toughness. However, last night, he was embarrassed by the St. Louis Blues' Nathan Walker. Walker, who is just 5 foot 9, was able to lay Reaves out with a massive hit at center ice.

Walker was able to come up behind Reaves and out muscle him with a massive hit that stunned the crowd at Scotia Bank Arena.

Reaves Getting Reputation For Being All Talk After Response to Rielly Incident

Reaves was definitely brought into Toronto as a message to the rest of the League that the Leafs were changing their tune. While Reaves did set the tone early in the season with a few fights, he has been pretty quiet since. That is, on the ice at least. Off the ice, he is getting a reputation of being all talk, since he has a comment on nearly every situation on what he would have done.

With the final stretch of the season coming up, and the playoffs after that, Reaves will have plenty of opportunities to show his toughness as games get more intense.
