Potential goaltending targets have emerged for the Toronto Maple Leafs to replace Ilya Samsonov this off-season.

Ilya Samsonov's journey with the Leafs is coming to and end. After a rocky patch that landed him with the Toronto Marlies, he worked to bounce back. With some solid coaching and support, he managed to regain his form and confidence, earning himself a spot back in the Leafs' lineup and even snagging the starting role for the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2024.

The big question is, will the Leafs decide to bring him back? Well, it's not exactly a done deal. According to Leafs nation, they will likely explore their options, maybe even dip into the trade market to find some goaltending depth.
