Giordano sets new NHL record, and the Leafs share their gift of appreciation

Giordano was honored by the Leafs with a special shield, which showcases the logos of all three teams he has played for during his 17 seasons in the NHL (Flames, Leafs, Kraken), along with his jersey number in Toronto, 55.
"This is awesome," Giordano said. "I do whatever it takes to win and I know everyone in here is the same. Thanks, boys."

Since his acquisition at last year's deadline, Giordano has been a reliable fixture on the Leafs' blueline, a fact that was underscored by his recent signing of a two-year extension worth $850K per season, which will run through the end of the next season.
