Maple Leafs Officially Hire Familiar NHL Voice to Bring Fans Closer Than Ever

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced on Tuesday they have hired former Sportsnet reporter and TV host Ryan Leslie to be a part of their broadcast team for 2025-26.
With the 2025-26 season just around the corner, fans are going to be hotly anticipating how the Maple Leafs will play out this season amidst all the changes.
Those changes will seemingly extend to the broadcast side of things as well.
Who Is the NHL Broadcaster Joining the Maple Leafs?
On Tuesday, the Maple Leafs announced they have brought in former Sportsnet personality Ryan Leslie; most famous for his time covering the Calgary Flames for their broadcasting team.

What His New Role Means for Leafs Fans
Leslie himself, a native of Port Dover, Ontario, was extremely excited and teased his reveal on social media:

Leslie spent the last decade working for Sportsnet and the Calgary Flames doing their rink-side reporting, and his new role will include a whole host of responsibilities:
