With the Toronto Maple Leafs taking on the Montreal Canadiens tonight, it appears as though the Leafs have gotten a gift with a key forward being ruled out.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have had one particular Achilles ' heel against the Montreal Canadiens over the past few years. Of course, we are talking about Josh Anderson.
Interestingly enough, Anderson will not be playing tonight. Instead, Owen Beck is going to be in the lineup. All while Jacob Fowler gets the start.

Over the last few years, Anderson has continued to burn the Leafs with some impressive goal totals. He finds the back of the net at inopportune times, and it drives Leafs fans crazy.
Josh Anderson's stats against the Maple Leafs
In 29 games against the Leafs, since joining the Canadiens, Anderson has managed a total of 13 goals and 17 points. It just proves that he loves to play against Toronto.
Now that he is out tonight, it can be argued that the Maple Leafs have a little bit of an advantage, although it is still going to be an uphill battle to get the win.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have struggled with their goaltending and their defense, which is something that the Canadiens will be looking to feast on all game long.
That said, there is still a pathway to victory for the Maple Leafs, who have proven that they are a team that can scrape out wins against good teams.
An Atlantic Division rival is always a game that you need to take seriously. If the Leafs don't take the game seriously, then they could be poised for a disaster.
Whatever the case may be, Fowler is going to be the netminder against Sergei Bobrovsky, and fans will be looking to Bob to let in fewer than three goals.
Otherwise, that "Sergei Bobrovs-three" nickname is going to continue to stick for weeks and months to come.
Do you believe the Toronto Maple Leafs will defeat the Canadiens today?
