Maple Leafs 2025-26 Ticket Sale Date Officially Announced for Fans

With the NHL season only a month and a half away from kicking off, things are getting exciting for fans as they wait and see if their favorite team is going to be able to push the path to glory, or come up short in their quest for Lord Stanley's Cup.

The Maple Leafs are one of the most watched teams in hockey, and the anticipation for this season is at an all time high. New names are in, old names have departed, and it's time to usher in a new era for the blue and white.

But for fans who want to get an in person taste of the action, it's a question of when they can start buying their tickets, and now we have an idea.

According to Ticketmaster, when you look up the Toronto Maple Leafs, their sale start date for all 41 home games starts on Wednesday, August 20th; so fans won't need to wait long until they can start buying.

The release will come in three batches. First, there are exclusive pre-sale tickets available to Toronto Maple Leafs members starting at 10am, then MLSE Insiders get a crack at tickets starting at 12pm, and finally at 2pm the general public will finally get their chance to purchase.

The Maple Leafs open up their season October 8th against the Montreal Canadiens, and if fans want to get early access to the game, they should probably see if they can sign up for the pre-sale code.

Maple Leafs members have the option to sign up as Leafs Insiders on the official Toronto Maple Leafs app, at which point they can go through due process in order to obtain the correct code for pre-sale.

These tickets are going to be gone in an instant, and it can end up leading to huge problems further down the line.

The subject of resellers is obviously one that irks many fans, as often times you'll see tickets being resold for double, almost triple the price sometimes. It's something that all sports deal with, but in the premium market that is Toronto; where it's already hard and expensive to find tickets, resellers get a ton of flak.

Fans can avoid this by signing up for the pre-sale code, or being vigilant when it comes to release day. However, it might be in the best interest of the Maple Leafs to utilize some type of stop-gap method to prevent people from mass-buying tickets in order to turn a profit.

It also doesn't help that the first game of the season is a hotly anticipated game against the Canadiens, and with those contests always full of excitement and tension, fans are obviously going to want a closer look.

With their additions this season, the Habs are poised to make some type of run at least for a playoff spot in 25-26, and as is often the case, the first game of the season can set the tone.

Fans are going to bring the noise, and it's going to be a memorable start to a very eagerly awaited season.

That is, if they can get their hands on some seats.
