A major injury update for the Toronto Maple Leafs' forward Bobby McMann emerged from the team practice on Monday morning.

McMann wasn't on the ice for the morning skate ahead of game two against the Boston Bruins.

"No lineup changes (as of right now at practice), Brodie remains out with Nylander & Gregor.

McMann not skating.

Seems like Samsonov starting tonight. #Leafs #LeafsForever"

McMann has been injured just over a week ago in a game against the Detroit Red Wings. He was involved in a weird collision with Alex DeBrincat that kept him sidelined ever since.

"Nothing grossly obvious but some medial stress to the left ankle at the end of the interaction with DeBrincat

Could lead to a medial/high ankle sprain. Not much stress so presume it's mild and McMann is day-to-day"

Some other members of the team will need to step up to fill in for McMann's absence tonight as they look to bounce back from a tough 5-1 loss against the Boston Bruins.
