Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe has been fired
The coaching carousel has started, and it has now hit the north, with Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe being fired on Thursday morning. A decision made by GM Brad Treliving after another first round exit.
It was announced this Thursday morning that Leafs head coach has been fired from his job.
Sheldon Keefe has been let go by the Toronto Maple Leafs. Keefe replaced Mike Babcock in November, 2019 and ranks 5th in Maple Leafs coaching victories.
Toronto is making a coaching change. Sheldon Keefe is out.
The search for a new coach in Toronto is currently underway with Craig Berube being the front runner.
