Toronto Maple Leafs forward Kirill Marchenko is currently week-to-week with a lower-body injury, although it appears as though he knows exactly what to do to heal.
Marchenko's injury has certainly been a huge blow to the Maple Leafs' offense, as he is someone who excelled on the first line with Auston Matthews.
Now, the team must navigate the next few weeks without him. At this time, there is no telling when he will return. All the Leafs know right now is that he has a leg injury, and it won't heal overnight.
That said, Marchenko is certainly doing his best to make sure that he is able to return to the Maple Leafs as quickly as possible.
Case in point, Marchenko was recently seen on social media in his home, wearing a knee brace, all while stickhandling and playing with his cat.

Not only is Marchenko keeping fresh with his hands, but he is also allowing himself to relax by playing with his beloved cat, and giving that knee some real time to heal.
Kirill Marchenko is ingratiating himself in Toronto
All of this just further showcases Marchenko's personality, which Maple Leafs fans have grown to love throughout his time with the team so far.
This was actually a big reason why he was so loved in Columbus, until eventually he made it crystal clear that he wanted out of the franchise.
Either way, if you are a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, you cannot help but appreciate everything Marchenko has done for the team in a very short time.
There will continue to be questions about his injury over the coming days, although his social media activity seems to suggest he himself isn't too worried about all of this.
Whatever the case may be, the Leafs would love to have Marchenko back, but first, they are going to have to exercise a bit of patience.
Do you believe Kirill Marchenko is the key to the Maple Leafs?
