Every year, teams try to find more entertaining and original ways to present their players to the fans before their first home game of the season. Some teams, however, always do the same thing, and after years, it's starting to bore some people.

Comparing the Leafs and the Canadiens' opener, there's a big difference. The Habs wanted to offer a show, and they did it. They had an orchestra and a live band on the ice, far from what the Leafs offered to their fans.
This season in Toronto could be an important one, and unfortunately, everyone will remember the start of the first season of
Auston Matthews as captain and Craig Berube behind the bench as boring.
Now, it'll be up to the players to make sure to offer a show the fans will remember. And this is not a show that happens in the regular season; it happens after the first round of the playoffs.
