Don Cherry is one of the most beloved figures in hockey known for his hot takes and suave suits. He has affection for the history of hockey and loves good old school style hockey.
The Leafs went out and decided to acquire Ryan Reaves, Tyler Bertuzzi, and Max Domi who all have some bite to their game and Cherry think this was one of the best things they could do.
In a recent tweet, he shared his thoughts on the moves.
Treliving's Moves
The three are known for being physical and getting under the oppositions skin which is perfect for the playoffs.
The Leafs have notoriously struggled with the playoffs but the idea of having these three players on the ice lets teams know that the Leafs will not sit around and take a beating.
In addition to signing these three, the Leafs also signed John Klingberg who will bolster their blue line with more offense.
Brad Treliving was a man on a mission this offseason and went out and acquired some of the top talent on the market while also getting some perfect fits for Toronto.
