BREAKING: Nick Robertson's time as a maple leafs could be over
With the return of Calle Jarnkrok who has been placed on IR and has been out of action for a while now, a young leafs forward has finally been demoted and sent down to the Toronto Marlies, in what could have been his last game as a Toronto Maple Leaf with the trade deadline looming.
Nick Robertson sent down to AHL
The Toronto Maple Leafs sent down Nick Robertson earlier today with the return of swedish winger Calle Jarnkrok. Robertson, seemed to finally earn himself a spot in the NHL playing a career most 41 games and putting up 19 points.
It has always been in and out situation with Robertson and the Leafs organization despite the immense potential he brought to the team.
With the trade deadline looming, we'd expect the Leafs forward to be the centre of trades shall GM Brad Treliving look into the trade market for some help.
