Leafs Playoff Starter Has Been Confirmed
The Maple Leafs had a tough decision to make when it came to their playoff starter. It has now been confirmed.
Ilya Samsonov Gets the Start
While entering the season, it appeared Matt Murray would get the job as starter for the Maple Leafs playoffs, as the season went along, Ilya Samsonov stole the job.
Murray's health woes, combined with Samsonov's stellar consistency made the decision rather easy.
It is entirely possible that Ilya Samsonov will be backed up by Joseph Woll as Murray continues to recover from a concussion.
Hopefully Samsonov can keep up his fantastic play and get the Leafs out of the first round.
