Brad Treliving buckles under pressure, makes shocking Ryan Reaves rost
This afternoon the Toronto Maple Leafs have made a long awaited move activating Ryan Reaves from injured reserve.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced today that forward Ryan Reaves has been activated off of injured reserve.
This move comes after an interview with Ryan Reaves that raised some eyebrows where he said he had been healthy for weeks.
Yeah, I've been ready for a couple weeks now. That's a question for them. I am not in those rooms, in those conversations. I'm not going to speculate anything. Just stay ready. And if I get called upon, I do. If I don't, I get my work in. So, I can't really sit here and speculate and bitch and moan over anything. Either stay patient to get in the lineup — or stay patient for whatever else is going to come.
Many around the league wondered if the Maple Leafs were keeping him off the ice for salary cap reasons. Now those rumors can be put in the past as Reaves will likely be returning to the lineup in the coming days.
