When a team trades an entire class worth of draft picks, and a decent defensive prospect for one player, it is hoped he'll make a big impact.

Unfortunately, for the Tampa Bay Lightning, Tanner Jeannot has been a bit of a letdown. Their woes with him appear to have only worsened now, however.

Jeannot May Be Healthy Scratched

Today at practice, fellow deadline acquisition Mikey Eyssimont left the ice early, indicating he'd be playing tonight. Tanner Jeannot, however, took extra reps, indicating a healthy scratch.

Mikey Eyssimont left the ice early during the very optional morning skate for the Lightning - a possible indication that he will return to play in the fifth game.

No confirmation on the changes, but Tanner Jeannot was the last forward to remain on the ice, a sign that he will be left out.

Not only did Jeannot essentially bare the Lightning's cupboards completely of draft picks, he may not even be dressed in the game where their modern dynasty could end.
