BREAKING: Leafs Make Goalie Move
Matt Murray left last game with injury. The Maple Leafs made a roster move this morning that may indicate the worst.
At this point in the season, with the Toronto Marlies looking poised to go deep in the Calder Cup playoffs, and Joseph Woll being a massive proponent to the teams' success, the Maple Leafs wouldn't call him up as a precaution.
With Matt Murray having left the game against Detroit with an injury after being run into by Lucas Raymond, it is entirely possible he will be out long term.
Woll is a great NHL option, but it would be a shame to waste the incredible AHL team behind him without the A+ goaltending.
We will update this story as more news comes out.
