The Seattle Kraken are currently nine points out of the Wild Card race in the Western Conference, and now, it appears the team are pivoting towards being sellers at the upcoming trade deadline.
On Monday, Head Coach Dave Hakstol revealed that Alex Wennberg, a veteran forward was kept off the ice at morning skate and will miss the clash with the Calgary Flames for 'trade related reasons'.
The 29-year old is having another solid season in 2023-24, tallying 9 goals and 25 points in 60 games played, and with many Stanley Cup contenders looking for a solid veteran piece in their bottom-six, he could fetch a solid return for the Seattle Kraken.
It's unclear at this point which teams are zeroing in on him, but with so many contenders looking to make some upgrades, we may see several teams interested in him over the next three or four days.
