Patrick Kane announced a while back that he would wait before signing with a team. He's currently recovering from hip surgery that will keep him off the ice for a few months.

Now, there are a lot of rumors going around. However, concrete links have been established with four teams.

Four Teams Linked to Kane

Kane wants to play for a contender team; it's no secret. He's been linked with four teams that are seeking nothing but victory.

Colorado Avalanche

The Avalanche were eliminated early in last year's playoffs, and they don't want the same outcome next season.

They have all it takes to win another Stanley Cup, and Kane would join an already elite top six to add even more depth to the Avs.

Dallas Stars

The Stars were eliminated by the Golden Knights in the Western Conference Finals last season. Their young core is extremely promising, and they'll undoubtedly be among the top teams for many years to come. With Kane, they could do even more damage in the League.

New York Islanders

The Islanders are still looking to add talent to their roster. They have what it takes defensively, but not offensively. Kane isn't as fast as he used to be, but he could still help them with his experience and natural scoring talent.

Boston Bruins

The Bruins lost top players this summer in Bergeron, Krejci, and Bertuzzi. Adding Kane would fill part of that void. Boston is currently hamstrung by the salary cap, but Kane won't ask for much money. If they plan this right and make the right moves beforehand, they could get him. After a record-breaking season, they'll certainly look to stay at the top of their game next season.
