Last night, the Kings played the Jets. The Kings secured a 4-1 win against the Jets, but one Kings player lost that game, when he was given a five-minute major penalty and a match penalty for cross-checking a Jets player in the face.

Lizotte cross-checked Morrissey in the face

Towards the end of the second period, when the Kings were already up 2-0, it appears that Josh Morrissey hooked Blake Lizotte, who responded by cross-checking Morrissey in the face, this was a rather uncalled-for response to the hook. The cross-check resulted in Morrissey leaving the game early.
