With tensions between the teams reaching several breaking points in game two, the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers have both been delivered a warning about the remainder of their series.

Game 2 between the Florida Panthers and Boston Bruins was one of the most aggressive and dirty games of the year. Fans saw two major brawls in the third period alone.

"Hockey fight!

Panthers and Bruins brawl."
"Bruins Panthers Brawl

Teams hate each other after 2 games"

Perhaps the most discussed fight of the game, alternatively, was that between David Pastrnak and Matthew Tkachuk. Both players dropped the gloves and landed punches while the other was on the ground and tried continuing after officials tried to separate them.

'PASTRNAK AND TKACHUK DROP THE GLOVES! 🥊"

Although many fans have enjoyed the old-school aggression on the ice, this dirty fight between the two seemed to leave the NHL no choice but to issue a warning. In this, they state that for the remainder of their series, the Panthers and Bruins will both be under much heavier scrutiny.

"Game 3 tonight between Florida and Boston. Game 2 certainly had a nasty tone to it amplified by the Pastrnak/Tkachuk scrap. Both clubs have been told by the NHL this series will be heavily scrutinized moving forward."

Unsurprisingly, hockey fans are not happy about this decision. The second round of the playoffs was finally on track for some tough competition, and it seems to many that the NHL is trying to stop this.

The Florida Panthers and Boston Bruins will make their appearance for game three of their series this evening at TD Garden. With both teams trying to take the series lead, we may still have a brutal matchup ahead.
