Playoff hockey is insane. Tensions are high and players are tough. This leads to some crazy stuff!

Off a shot by William Nylander, Josh Mahura got a pick right to the eye. This is one of the scariest places to have impact for a player, and it left him, and the ice bloodied.

Mahura Takes a Puck to the Eye

It what will likely be a game 2 win for the Florida Panthers against the Toronto Maple Leafs, there has already been a major injury as Matthew Knies left for the room.

Now, Josh Mahura has left for the room after this scary scene:

It was only two weeks ago when Morgan Barron took a skate blade near the eye and returned just a few shifts later. We will see if Mahura has an equally swift recovery!
