Today a new report has come out from NHL insider Chris Johnston that has shed major light on recent trade rumors involving Edmonton Oilers star Leon Draisaitl.
Since being eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs the Edmonton Oilers have undergone a lot of change. First General Manager Ken Holland stepped down, then the team traded third line center Ryan McLeod to the Buffalo Sabres, and now the future of Leon Draisaitl is uncertain.
With new General Manager Jeff Jackson coming in to take over he has several big tasks ahead of him. The first of which is a contract extension for superstar Leon Draisaitl.
