The Chicago Blackhawks have emerged as one of the most perfect fits for prime trade target Mitch Marner this summer.
With the superstar product of Connor Bedard, and a second overall pick coming up in June, the Chicago Blackhawks are in good hands for the future. However, if they would like to add a win now mode player and a player for the future to play alongside Connor Bedard, Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner might be their best shot at making their team a real threat.
Brad Treliving and Brendan Shanahan have revealed they are open to anything, when talking about making changes this summer, and more and more sources are saying Mitch Marner will be the one out the door.
With his no trade clause, it is rumoured he would waive a trade to Chicago shall an offer be concluded.
A trade wouldn't be difficult, with the Blackhawks having an abundance of young pieces to deal away for a superstar like Marner. Players like Kevin Korchinski, Frank Nazar and Oliver Moore can be pieces that intrigue the Maple Leafs' management brass.
