Sabres fire multiple staff members including head coach Don Granato
The Buffalo Sabres organization announced that they've fired multiple staff members, including their head coach, Don Granato.
After yet another disappointing season in Buffalo, the Sabres' management decided to take drastic measures to make sure the team gets back on the right track.
Head coach Don Granato, assistant coach Jason Christie, and video coordinator Matt Smith were all relieved from their duties in the Sabres' organization.
With a 39-37-6 record, the team secured the sixth place in their division, only behind the Ottawa Senators and the Montreal Canadiens.
Granato, in the six years behind the Sabres' bench, never reached the playoffs once.
Do you think the Sabres made the right call by firing Granato?
More to come.
