Controversy Surrounding Brad Marchand's Latest Dirty Play
Brad Marchand doesn't have the reputation of being a pest for no reason. This latest play against Oliver Bjorkstrand of the Seattle Kraken has him under the microscope.
Marchand May be Looking at Suspension
Slewfoots one of the most dangerous plays in the league. Considering the amount of pressure put on a players' knees while skating, unexpectedly losing their balance can have serious effects.
Marchand isn't necessarily known for slewfooting, but he is known as a tenacious player - sometimes not in the best way.
This slewfoot on Oliver Bjorkstrand of the Seattle Kraken could get him a meeting with the department of player safety:
It's hard to tell a guy like Marchand to clean up his act, but moves like this, that have obvious intent to injure, are unacceptable.
