Fans are allowed to attend game 6 between the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs at the Bell Centre Saturday. Tickets for the game are already sold out, but you can find them on tickets resellers such as StubHub if you're so inclined, just be sure you're ready to open your wallet wide.
According to the Toronto Star, the cheapest seat they could find on Friday morning was $1,593.40 for a seat in the 300 section on TicketMaster. On StubHub, it was $1,765 for another 300-section level seat. As for the most expensive, you could land a 100-level seat just behind the Canadiens net for $3,783 for a single ticket on StubHub. Another person is selling a 100-level seat on TicketMaster for $8,060. The tickets itself cost $6500, while TicketMaster adds another $1,560 in extra fees.
It's never inexpensive to purchase a ticket to an NHL game in Canada, but supply and demand is certainly driving these prices to crazy levels. Under Quebec's relaxed restrictions, which came into effect Friday, just 2500 fans are allowed to attend the game with physical distancing and masking in divided sections capped at 250 people each. It may not be much, but it will be awesome to hear real cheering in the stands again instead of computer-generated noise.
