Brendan Shanahan received a lot of criticism after he decided to part ways with Kyle Dubas.
It was even worst in the aftermath, as stories about how Shanahan vetoed some moves that Dubas wanted to do.
Now, he hired a new GM in Brad Treliving and if the latter doesn't succeed, Shanahan will be the next one to go.
It's simple. There was a couple of good candidates to be the new GM in Toronto, but Shanahan chose Treliving. If this decision doesn't pay off, he'll likely be held responsible.
But Treliving proved he could do a great job. During his tenure in Calgary, he made a lot of good decisions. However, he also took some questionable ones.
Do you think Brad Treliving will be a good general manager in Toronto?
