John Tortorella Firmly Addresses Tony DeAngelo's Suspension-Worthy Behaviour

John Tortorella doesn't put up with much, and with Tony DeAngelo likely facing suspension for spearing an opposing player, Torts addressed his players' actions.

After getting involved in a net-front scrum, and making his impact known by spearing Corey Perry right in the chest, DeAngelo was addressed with a game misconduct.






In the post-game, media had only one question on their minds - what did notable hot-head John Tortorella think of DeAngelo's game misconduct.

He replied rather tamely.

I haven't seen the clip what happened. The guys in the room said they saw it, but he may have crossed the line with what they said. He competes, but he may have crossed of crossed it tonight.


Crossing the line is probably the understatement of the century, but at least it should mean that DeAngelo will have an easier time getting back onto Torts' good side when his suspension is over.

Embarrassment all around in Philadelphia.
