The Vegas Golden Knights held their Stanley Cup Parade on Saturday, and it was nothing if not memorable. In fact, it may be goalie Adin Hill and not a drunk William Karlsson who had the best quote of the parade (especially if you're a Will Ferrell fan).
When asked by a reporter what it meant to bring the city of Las Vegas its first-ever Stanley Cup, Hill responded saying, «It's pretty wild. I don't know I don't know what to do with my hands right now.»
As you can see, one of Hill's hands is holding a bottle of Bud Light, so clearly he knew what to do with one of them. But the main comment in question appears to be a reference to Ferrell's character Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. In it, he says «I felt like I was on a spaceship. I'm not sure what to do with my hands.» (The rest of that clip shows Ricky Bobby STILL not knowing what to do with his hands, to boot.)
It may seem like a bizarre quote at first, but given how Hill JUST won a Stanley Cup, we'll allow it especially when a reference to a classic comedy film seems to be involved!
