It was a scary scene when Pittsburgh Penguins top prospect Filip Hallander, of the AHL's Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins went down with what appeared to be a neck injury.

There was 1:12 left in the game when it occurred, and due to the severity of the injury, the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins decided to call the game short, as they were trailing 4-2.
The #WBSPens cancelled their virtual post-game media availability tonight, and there is no update on Filip Hallander from the team at this time.

When they provide an update I'll be sure to pass that information along.

Hallander has 25 points in 26 AHL games this season, and is among the best in the Penguins system. Hopefully he will be okay.
