Jason Spezza was offered an in person hearing for his nasty knee on Pionk in retaliation for Pionk's knee on knee hit on Rasmus Sandin. What a crazy sequence.
Here's the full sequence:
In person hearing gives the NHL Safety department the option to suspend a player for more than five games, which would be disastrous for the Leafs who would be losing one of their best forwards.
