The Coyotes will be without a home arena for the 2022-23 season due to a recent rift between the city of Glendale, the Gila River Arena, and the Coyotes. The city determined that it can profit more from hosting other events at Gila River Arena, such as concerts, than it can from hosting 40+ NHL home games.
As of now, it appears like the idea is to have a new arena built for the franchise in Houston, Texas.
