This past Saturday night, Kero and the Stars faced battle against the Chicago Blackhawks in one of the few NHL games that wasn't postponed due to a league-wide epidemic of Covid.

Only 3 minutes had elapsed when Chicago Blackhawks forward Brett Connolly stepped into Kero and delivered a brutal hit, knocking him out. Connolly's hit did not appear to be predatory, but Kero was not looking up the ice, never touched the puck, and could not see Connolly approaching. That, in my opinion, made the strike much worse on Kero, who had seemingly become the victim.
